Remembering her #1

I still keep her in my mind. I do not want to forget the old days. I often sit at night thinking about her and even praying to see her in Heaven. The most tragic was that I wanted to help her, I was spending money, and it was all in vain... You want to help and you cannot help even if you try very hard and for long time

 

The old ways #1

This is from March 2026. I was in Warsaw for visit my family and I have some time to went there and snap some images.

Znowu tutaj / Back here

 Ten blog był niby definitywnie zamknięty i jakiś czas miałam drugi, potem nie pisałam na obu. Moja suczka umarła. Ostatni post był o tym, że zachorowała - jakoś sześć lat temu. Teraz mieszkam w innym mieście i mam innego psa. Tamta historia to był taki koszmar że do dzisiaj trudno mi o tym mówić. Wydaliśmy kilka tysięcy na ratowanie jej a weterynarze żle opiekowali się nią po operacji i niestety ja musiałam podjąć decyzję o uśpieniu jej bo strasznie cierpiała.

ENG: I had closed this blog forever and also I am still keeping the second blog. For some time I was not present both on the two sites. My dog passed away. My last post about six years ago was that she was sick. I live in another town now and I have another dog. The story that my dog was sick it is still like a horror to me. I even cannot talk about it. We spent big money for saving her and finally I had  to put her to sleep. She suffered very much and it was no choice because of medical mistakes. She is a victim.

Chciałabym wznowić ten blog jako stronę ze wspomnieniami o niej. Wydaje mi się że ona nie odeszła. Czasem spotykam ją we śnie. Często przyjeżdżam do Warszawy i odwiedzam stare miejsca. Teraz byłam w marcu ale niedługo znowu jadę.

ENG: I would start this blog again as a memory site about my dog. I have the feeling she is still next to me. She is not gone. I meet her in my dreams from time to time. I visit Warsaw often so I am able to go through our old paths. Last time I was in March but I will travel again soon.

Paradise lost and the new blog

 I have very sad news that it turned out my dog is very seriously ill and she will live with me not for a long time. She has a good care and I hope she will live some time but I count it in months. I don't want to talk more about it as my heart is broken and I cried all my tears over her. I still cry everyday but I think she does not understand it all and is not suffering much. I love my furbaby very much. I dont want her to suffer. It has happened all of a sudden! I used to think she is still not that old and in the good health, but no... I am completely devastated so I decided to close this blog. I was posting a lot about our walks, lots of her pictures etc. This is over now.

I love you and I want to be here so I created a new blog. I am no longer here but I want to focus more on myself, I mean my inner space, fashion and art I like.

Our wintry walk

 Hello guys!This is quite warm on here as you might see, and in the forecast they say we will have a warm Christmas. They predict even over 10C in Poland, maybe not here in Warsaw, but we will see... And then... Winter is coming before The New Year's Eve! ( We expect snow)

We went for a nice walk today . This is all under the preparations for Christmas, so it was lovely to find some free time. We are doing fine in general, but of course it has been tiring us, all of those restrictions etc.

We have a very cosy Christmas this year, only three persons and pets. Cheesecake, carob cookies and borstch, then pierogies and more... I will show you later or maybe Claire - Genevieve will post about it. I hope you are fine. We'll be back before Christmas for the wishes and showing all the food.

My old postcards

 

Today I am back with the old post cards I want to show you. The first one you might see above must be older than I am, as I remember this post card from my childhood. I remember I had it in my kindergarten years. This is all from my parents collection. So it is South Bay, Scarborough. I guess from the U.S. don't you. The next is beautiful Polish postcards and also quite old. The roses are so magnificent!

Finally I wanted to show you this postcards with the cat, who is very simiar to Claire- Genevieve. This is old Polish card too. Great drawing! This postcard is really precious to me and sometimes I think maybe I should frame it.

It is been good on here and autumn has been warm and sunny this year. At least in September! They say in the forecast next week we will experience 27C, so the weather still is great and summery. Of course I am still very busy. The nights became cold like winter, even 9C. You can have quite warm day, I mean over 20C, but then the evening always brings you cold air, that you need your winter jacket to go out. I like Polish autumns, the variety of colours and shadows all around me and all this splendid awesome food. I adore cooked corn with butter and salt, apple cakes and making jams from prunes. Hope you are having nice Sunday too!

To be frank this month had been even nice and easy to me. I almost forgot about the pandemy, the weather is still sweet and warm, I had a lot of free time and in general is good.

We always experience thunderstorms and rains in June, this is every year and this year the same. The most interesting is that a few weeks ago all the media, authorities etc were claiming that an extraordinary drought is coming. The drought that massive like never before! Like 150 years ago... And now we have floodings and it pours cats and dogs everyday.

My African  snails are still alive and it costs me a lot of work. I must change them their soil from time to time. I use coconut pressed box, it gives wonderful aroma while you are pouring warm water to it.

They love to eat raddish leaves, cucumber and sepia skeletons. Also dried oat flakes.

My dog is doing fine too. We go for our walks everyday and recently I decided to stand in the stream too. I have cheap and solid sport sandals and I found one place in water with no mud on the bottom. It was lovely! The water was so clear and cold...

This is something similar  to cotton, don't you think. I am not sure what it is but I love it. I got it home because I wanted to try it as a cotton bud to remove the makeup. Unfortunately it turned out it becomes sticky.

And this is my soup from red lentils, champignions, onion, beef cubes and garlic. With nigella and was delicious. This is my own recipe.
