My old postcards: Vintage Italia

Hello guys! Nice to be with you again. Today I am showing you my really old postcards from Italy. This is all from my parents collection and I think it must be from the 60th, so very old and unique. Certainly you know the view above, very famous picture from Venice.

This is the Basilic in Assisi, the town well known from St. Francis, the man who loved animals.

And the last one is from Capri, this is also very famous view, dont you.

Today is rather warm and I was walking with my dog in the park here. She found a big pork bone and she ate it all. Then I had to go shopping and I decided I will go by foot ( a few kilometres). So I am tired a little bit. I must walk in this stupid mask of course.

Tommorrow I will bake pizza or maybe some kind of semolina cake with peaches.

My old postcards

 

Today I am back with the old post cards I want to show you. The first one you might see above must be older than I am, as I remember this post card from my childhood. I remember I had it in my kindergarten years. This is all from my parents collection. So it is South Bay, Scarborough. I guess from the U.S. don't you. The next is beautiful Polish postcards and also quite old. The roses are so magnificent!

Finally I wanted to show you this postcards with the cat, who is very simiar to Claire- Genevieve. This is old Polish card too. Great drawing! This postcard is really precious to me and sometimes I think maybe I should frame it.

It is been good on here and autumn has been warm and sunny this year. At least in September! They say in the forecast next week we will experience 27C, so the weather still is great and summery. Of course I am still very busy. The nights became cold like winter, even 9C. You can have quite warm day, I mean over 20C, but then the evening always brings you cold air, that you need your winter jacket to go out. I like Polish autumns, the variety of colours and shadows all around me and all this splendid awesome food. I adore cooked corn with butter and salt, apple cakes and making jams from prunes. Hope you are having nice Sunday too!

Summer in the city

Hello, guys! How the time flies... It seems like the summer has been going to the end. Well, September in Poland it is summer still,  not that hot like we experience by now. So I think this heatwave is the last heatwave this year. I love to spend summer in the city. I adore the empty streets and parks while lots of people are on vacations. I really like to travel in winter.

Warsaw is my city where I was born and I raised up. I cannot say I love this town, but is quite nice sometimes. Loving this town it is said too much! Too crowded and too nasty. Recently I was very busy with many meetings in the city so I made those collages and images. Warsaw has about 2 millions of inhabitants now, the majority are newcomers, and the majority of the newcomers are country people from the region Masovia, and sometimes I find it as a problem, as I am not a country girl. In other Polish big towns, like Kraków ( Cracow) or Gdańsk the atmosphere is more fancy, peaceful, posh etc. Warsaw is very dynamic and let me say, boorish, as far as I am concerned. But I live here in the outskirts and often I feel even good despite of it.

My feline story November 2018

 Welcome, ladies and gentlemen... This is the kitty Claire- Genevieve.I am speaking to you from Warsaw! Here is already winter, so I want to spend most time in the bathroom or in Mom's bed, close to the central heating. We rarely experience freeze in November here in Poland! This  year it seems we have severe winter... In particular those nights are so cold and it reminds me rather January, not November. I have new kibble for cats, as you see at the picture:

I am in awe! This is so yummy... But I have big problem with the doggo, who is in the habit of stealing me it from my bowl in the kitchen. At night she is cleaning it! Well... Let's talk about music! My dearest readers, I discovered a wonderful channel at YT. This is from Turkey and I watch it along with Mom very often. I would recommend it to you too...

As you might see I adore to take a nap during cold, and long wintry evening. I am so sorry I post only in English this time.

Nasz nowy blender i tenisówki / New blender and sneakers

Ostatnio właśnie kupiłam sobie nowy blender i chciałam go pokazać poprzez Internet. Jest to polski, firmy Mesko, to jest jakby Mieszko I, nie kojarzy się Wam tak ? Dlatego nazwałam go Mieszko, no bo on miesza, czyż nie. Mieszko mój ma ładne kolory, biało- zielony jest i nie był drogi, a jest naprawdę dobry. Kupiony jest w Leclercu z promocji, dlatego kosztował tylko około 50 zł. Jakoś pod 5 dych to było... Jestem bardzo zadowolona z niego.

I want all of you to know, that I have  bought my new blender and I am very glad of it. This is our Polish from the brand Mesko and I did reach it with a special price. I paid only about 50 zł in Leclerc. ( 1 Euro is around 4,2 zł   so this is not much, right?). I like its design and the colours green and white. My old one broke so I was in the need.

Я купила в Leclerc новый блендер и хотела Вам показать его. Это был промоушн блендеров и я заплатила только неполное 50 злотых. Это не много а очень хороший. Старый блендер избаловалься и я хотела новый у етого красивый дизайн. Это польский из фирмы Мэско. Я очень доволна.

Tu właśnie widzimy Mieszka w trakcie przyrządzania smoothie z karobem i wanilią, na mleku krowim. To jest dobre w zimne dni. Aktualnie karob mi się skończył i muszę kupić. Na razie jednak jest bardzo ciepło, u nas 30C.

Here is the display, where you might see my blender while it is working. There is a carob smoothie with vanilla beans. I have created this drink idea by myself, although I think that it is better for a chilly day. Today is really warm, this is 30C in Warsaw ! Warmer than in Paris...

Вы здесь видите как он делает smoothie с каробэм и еще там молоко и ваниль. Это было хорошее особенно когда были свежие  дни. Сегодня в Варшаве очень тепло 30С.

Tu mamy maślankę, truskawki i cukier puder. Ja bardzo lubię takie na maślance albo na kefirze. Lubię mleko krowie i używam cukru. W kwestii smoothie jestem konserwatywna, tu są linki do kilku, które znalazłam na Pintereście i zamierzam zrobić:

Here you see my  another drink made with buttermilk, strawberries and icing suger. I like a lot to make my smoothies on buttermilk or on kefir. I like cow's milk and I use  sugar in my kitchen. It seems like I am a conservative one, while it comes to a smoothie. Thus I want to share a few my Pinterest's finds, which have been not checked but seem worthy:

W Leclercu kupiłam też takie tenisówki za niecałe 30 zł, to chyba było 27 albo jakoś 28 zł... Uważam  że nie są gorsze od podobnych za stówę albo 70 zł, bo tyle zazwyczaj kosztują. Są naprawdę ładne i porządne. Dlatego odstąpiłam od zamiaru kupienia takich za 70 zł, które niewiele się różnią. Te były w Leclercu, ale na metce jest napisane Kaufland, więc może tam też są.

While I was there in Leclerc I bought also those sneakers, which costed almost 30 zł, I think it was 27 or 28 zł. I must say that are not worse than the sneakers with the price 100 or 70 zł so it is a good deal. Simply the sneakers are very pretty and solid, and neatly made. So I forgot about that more pricey ones. I need it for my strolls with my dog, so those are good enough. As I said I have it from Leclerc, but I discovered that is written Kaufland on the logo, so maybe you can find it at Kaufland too. We have Kaufland here in Poland, but personally I've never been there.

Еще в Leclerc я нашла и купила такое спортивные туфли за неполное 30 зл я думаю это было 27 или 28. Также замечательное как такое за 70 или 100 зл. Хорошо сделане и красивые. Kaufland на этих туфлах нарисали так кажется что они может быть и в Kaufland в продаже.
