Boże Narodzenie 2016 / Christmas 2016

Nie mogę pisać zbyt długo, ponieważ Claire- Genevieve zauważyła już choinkę... Jeden pierniczek z choinki jest już skradziony! Suczka ma też skradzioną papierową torbę od prezentów i śpi na niej teraz, bo najadła się pistacji.
I cannot type too long, because Claire - Genevieve has noticed our Christmas tree... One of gingerbread cookies from the tree is stolen already ! My doggie dog has stolen also the paper bag ,where I had my present, and right now she is napping on it, because  is full of pistache. (My dog is full of pistache).

To jest barszcz z uszkami, który był pyszny i jest jeszcze na jutro.
This is a bortsh with small dumplings, stuffed with forest's mushrooms, "uszka" . It is very yummy and I have also for tomorrow.

Suczka dostała szampon dla psów długowłosych, obrożę i sznur do zabawy. Pod tym jest szalik, który ja dostałam od mamy. Co roku dostaję od niej szalik, ten jest nawet do zniesienia, ha ha!

My doggie dog has received a shampoo for long-haired dogs, a collar and a string for play. All of it is laying on the scarf my Mom gave me. She is giving me a scarf every year, this one I can even accept, ha, ha!

Dostałam jeszcze dużo prezentów, na przykład takie naczynie do zapiekania z Duki, które bardzo chciałam. W nim są daktyle bio, które też dostałam.

I received many gifts, for example I can show you this  casserole pot from Duka store. I had been highly wanting it! And there are also bio dates.

Oprócz  plastikowej choinki ubrałam też taką dużą roślinę doniczkową w tym roku.
This year we have decorated huge pot plant, and plastic Christmas tree, too.

Teraz chyba będę oglądać w tv Pasterkę z Zakopanego, bo jak część z Was wie, moja rodzina pochodzi z gór, więc lubię takie klimaty.
I want to watch a Midnight Mass in tv, from Polish town Zakopane in Tatra mountains. As some of you might know, my ancestors were highlanders, so I adore this atmosphere.

BTW: Aby zepsuć mi nastrój, Vectra, gdzie mamy Internet, działa tak, że od trzech dni mam uszkodzony modem ( wymieniony kilka miesięcy temu). Nie ma dostępu przez około pół godziny, muszę tyle czekać za każdym razem. Modem się nie resetuje, obsługa jest tak niegrzeczna i tak długo czekam na połączenie ( to jest płatne), że zmieniamy operatora, chyba na Netię, bo słyszałam dobre opinie. Więc jeśli komentarze nie będą moderowane tak szybko jak zazwyczaj, proszę poczekajcie. Ja na pewno wrócę.

Jabłuszka z parku 2016 / Mini apples from the park 2016

To jest takie próbne video, które ja zrobiłam, aby pokazać jak ciężko jest pokroić te maleńkie jabłuszka! Następne będzie też po angielsku, ale inna sprawa, że ten dżwięk  i obraz to mogły by być lepsze... No ale trudno. W tym roku też zbierałam rajskie jabłka w parku, tak jak rok temu. Ja po prostu nie mogę patrzeć jak to się marnuje, szczególnie że te owoce są bio i rosną w miejscu oddalonym i osłoniętym od ulic i ruchu samochodowego. No to jak można zmarnować?

This is my video testing. I am going to show you how hard labour it is to chop these small apples! I speak in Polish only, but I promise the next one will in English too. The other thing is, that the quality of sound  is not the best and all in all this is not a perfect camera... This year I was in the park here and I was   harvesting  the mini apples, the same like last year I did. I cannot see like this is wasting, especially because the fruits are really bio, and they grow in the perfect place, away from the streets and traffic. How can I waste it?

Byłam tam dwa razy, to jest słoik z drugiego zbioru. Za pierwszym razem trochę się bałam złośliwych ludzi, ale ludzie byli dla mnie bardzo mili, to znaczy jakiś facet tylko był, a potem zobaczyłam, że niedaleko jest kobieta, która stoi pod jakąś choinką i obcina z niej coś do wiaderka - więc poczułam się bardzo dobrze.

I have been there twice, and the jar on the photo is from my second harvesting. I was afraid of a teasing people, a little bit for the first time - luckily I did not meet them. I met one man very polite and, in addition, I realised that under another tree ( a coniferous tree) a woman is standing and is picking something to  plastic bucket. So it made me feel very good.

Zrobiłam z nich konfitury z miodem lipowym i z cukrem trzcinowym nierafinowanym z wyspy Mauritius. Upiekłam babeczki  z kruchego ciasta, i ciekawe jest, że okazało się w trakcie że mam za mało klarowanego masła. Więc w dużej części jest tam olej kokosowy i wyszło bardzo smaczne. Już kilka razy dodawałam olej kokosowy do ciasta, ale do kruchego pierwszy raz. I wrzuciłam też trochę skórki pomarańczowej do ciasta.
Then I made  a confiture from these mini apples, and I had added also lime honey and unrefined brown sugar from the island Mauritius. The dough was a shortbread and while I was making it I realised that I have not enough of clarified butter... So I added a coconut oil instead, and it turned out to be very yummy as well. I have been doing it severally before, but never with a shortbread. There is also an orange peel in the dough.

To wyszło bardzo dobre i z tych drugich też teraz robię konfitury, i dodam chyba imbir i może trochę pomarańczy i właśnie skórkę pomarańczową. Ale to jest na razie tylko pomysł , więc nie wiem, jakie wyjdzie... Widzicie, co Claire- Geneveive robi, po to szyłam jej te myszy!!! A jak nagrywałam video nie chciała przyjść i spała cały czas w swojej jaskini -domku.
So the result was quite good, and I'm about to make another confiture, from the second part this time. I think I will add a ginger, and maybe a bit of fresh oranges and also an orange peel again. Although this is only the idea, and I don't know am I right with that idea... And look! Claire- Genevieve is playing with my apples, even if she received the mice I made her. While I was making the video  she was not interested in coming to you , because she was sleeping in the cave all the time.
