My old postcards

Today I am back with the old post cards I want to show you. The first one you might see above must be older than I am, as I remember this post card from my childhood. I remember I had it in my kindergarten years. This is all from my parents collection. So it is South Bay, Scarborough. I guess from the U.S. don't you. The next is beautiful Polish postcards and also quite old. The roses are so magnificent!

Finally I wanted to show you this postcards with the cat, who is very simiar to Claire- Genevieve. This is old Polish card too. Great drawing! This postcard is really precious to me and sometimes I think maybe I should frame it.

It is been good on here and autumn has been warm and sunny this year. At least in September! They say in the forecast next week we will experience 27C, so the weather still is great and summery. Of course I am still very busy. The nights became cold like winter, even 9C. You can have quite warm day, I mean over 20C, but then the evening always brings you cold air, that you need your winter jacket to go out. I like Polish autumns, the variety of colours and shadows all around me and all this splendid awesome food. I adore cooked corn with butter and salt, apple cakes and making jams from prunes. Hope you are having nice Sunday too!

The things I have been loving this time

Hello guys, I am back on here! I feel sorry I wasn't keeping you up to date. It is been awhile since the day I posted here for the last time, don't you. I had been seriously busy but for now I have a little bit more free time so I am back.

September is obviously the month of an apple cake. As you might know from my recent posts I have a few abandoned apple trees in the neighbourhood, which grow completely wild in the park, in the place free from the traffic polution. I have been there already and my bag was full of apples, believe me guys. This is the cake I baked then. ( I have baked similar cake also earlier if you remember, but this is the next one).

I will bake another cake soon and today I added a few apples to the goose's legs  - great combo ever.

This is the chocolate I received as a present and I was trying it for the first time. I mean, for the first time  from this particular brand, but I know the taste of bitter chocolate with chilli. I love it! Wedel is very famous Polish brand and they make chocolates, pralines, drinking cocoa, bars and more. I have lived for a long time in the neighbourhood of their factory. The factory is an old building here in Warsaw and the divine aroma of hot chocolate is in the air while you are walking down the street there. This is unforgettable, believe me.

This is me in my dress I bought in Bon Prix. ( I don't have  any agreement, I really bought it). It was rather cool summer  this year, with rainy July and only in August we had proper summer weather. The weather in September is still good for summer clothes, but it seems like October will be cold. We sometimes experience really warm Octobers here in Poland, last year we had even 27 C one day, but they say in the forecast this year we will have around 10 C!

My dog stole the toy I brought home for her and then forgot to give it.

I hope you  have enjoyed it. I am coming to read your posts soon.

Body scrubs and some amazing cloud in the sky

Good afternoon guys! Here I go with my new body scrubs I recently bought. I am buying only cruelty- free cosmetics and I believe our Polish products have really been not tested on animals. This first one is still not opened do I  cannot say a word about it, but I think it should be good, because I already have had another things from this brand and I was very glad of it. This scrub contains sugar and nigella seed oil.

I have used up this one from Oriflame. I returned to Oriflame after some time, because they are cruelty free. I like this scrub, but when I was using it I realised it is not enough. I am not a giant person nor very fat, but I had to open the second packaging! This is very small amount into it...

In addition, guys, I have seen this absolutely marvellous cloud one day. I noticed this cloud had a shape of a man, so I went to another room to find the camera, and then, while I was back, it turned into a man or boy who touches  sitting dog. Do you see it? Or maybe  is it my imagination?

The lime tree in bloom and summer storms

I have read we experience the most chilly summer since 2011 and I think it can be true as undeniably it is been cold. But not that cold to make you feel bad... For instance, today the temp was around 25 C, or recently we had around 22C so this is only a cold summer. It happens sometimes here in Poland. This year we had been not experiencing heat like 35C, and it seems we will have it not. Personally I adore heat waves from the bottom of my heart but I know people rather don't like it.

The lime trees grow here next to our place, we have a real lime tree wood in the spot hidden from the traffic polution. That is why I decided for the first time in my life to pick the flowers up. While I was harvesting it two ladies stopped there and we were talking a longer time about herbs. One of them told me a lot of useful things.

I boiled it and I was sitting with my feet in this wonderful bath. I was also wondering maybe it could be good for my hair as a shadow. See how beautiful colour ! I mean the water has the shadow that looks properly, at least for my dark blond hair. The next solution is to use it in the kitchen. I was watching it in tv. The monks from Silesia know the recipe where the lime tree tea is one of the ingredients in the marinate for chicken.

So I went to get more and unfortunately it turned out the trees are not blooming any more now. So next year I will for sure.

June and July are rainy months full of storms. I adore summer storms, of course while at home sipping tea. Maybe this is our last summer in Warsaw, guys. I will tell you later.
