Baked apples, short trip to Warsaw and back, autumnal mood

 Pieczone jabłko jest esencją jesieni. Chodzi o to, żeby dać do środka trochę masła ghee i miodu, i jeszcze coś jak migdały albo orzechy włoskie. Tym razem ja dałam liofilizowane organiczne jagody. Podstawka jest do pieczenia kurczaka na ruszcie.

To jabłko zerwałam w Warszawie w sekretnym miejscu, ze zdziczałej jabłoni, i potem wiozłam je pociągiem do innego miasta żeby je upiec. Zawsze zbierałam te jabłka z moimi psami, jak jeszcze żyły.

Baked apple is very essential, right? This is very autumnal. My secret is a bit of ghee and organic honey to add to the apple. Then you may add whatsoever like almonds, walnuts. This time I added freeze-dried organic  berries. The form  I use is for chicken.

I picked up this apple in my secret spot where wild apple tree grows. I was carrying it in the train and I baked it in another town afterward. I used to collect these apples every year with my dogs. So for now they are gone.

I baked these flat olive breads one night. It is some Turkish recipe.

Almond cookies

Recently I baked these almond cookies and they are really delicious. I would share the recipe, is very easy and not time -consuming.

You will need: 1 glass  organic rice flour, 1/2 glass cane sugar organic, 2 glasses organic almond flour, 

6 table spoons organic ghee, 1 table spoon cold water, whole organic almonds,

Mix rice flour and cane sugar in the bowl. Add almond flour and mix it all together. Add ghee and knee it all, then add water. This is one spoon in the recipe but I added a bit more. Make small balls from the dough. Put in in the baking form and press one almond into every ball. Bake around 12 minutes in 180C. Very easy right?

Meeting the kitty from the neighbourhood

The kitty is an old friend of us ( I mean my old dog I had before and me ). She has been living in the next building in Warsaw. I lived in Warsaw all my life but I moved out a few years ago and for now I live in another town. The images above had been taken more than five years ago. The kitty was up at the tree close to our place. She is starring at my dog.

The images down below had been taken also a few years ago when I lived in Warsaw. This kitty was well- known due to her habit of taking the lift in our apartment block. She does not live here! She is waiting at the doors and then people notice her in the lift. She has a collar with phone number so we knew she is a neighbour.

 

I remember the day I have met her again. This is recorded here. I had lived outside one year and I was visiting the old place. I noticed her walking by the street. This is the last time I saw her but I hope she is doing good.

Znowu tutaj / Back here

 Ten blog był niby definitywnie zamknięty i jakiś czas miałam drugi, potem nie pisałam na obu. Moja suczka umarła. Ostatni post był o tym, że zachorowała - jakoś sześć lat temu. Teraz mieszkam w innym mieście i mam innego psa. Tamta historia to był taki koszmar że do dzisiaj trudno mi o tym mówić. Wydaliśmy kilka tysięcy na ratowanie jej a weterynarze żle opiekowali się nią po operacji i niestety ja musiałam podjąć decyzję o uśpieniu jej bo strasznie cierpiała.

ENG: I had closed this blog forever and also I am still keeping the second blog. For some time I was not present both on the two sites. My dog passed away. My last post about six years ago was that she was sick. I live in another town now and I have another dog. The story that my dog was sick it is still like a horror to me. I even cannot talk about it. We spent big money for saving her and finally I had  to put her to sleep. She suffered very much and it was no choice because of medical mistakes. She is a victim.

Chciałabym wznowić ten blog jako stronę ze wspomnieniami o niej. Wydaje mi się że ona nie odeszła. Czasem spotykam ją we śnie. Często przyjeżdżam do Warszawy i odwiedzam stare miejsca. Teraz byłam w marcu ale niedługo znowu jadę.

ENG: I would start this blog again as a memory site about my dog. I have the feeling she is still next to me. She is not gone. I meet her in my dreams from time to time. I visit Warsaw often so I am able to go through our old paths. Last time I was in March but I will travel again soon.

Well, excuse me guys... In general I want to say hello, but I am napping as you might see, right?

The cinammon rolls are eaten, as you might see... The be frank, I am more grumpy than I was some time ago. I am getting older and more grumpy. 

Mom baked the rolls yesterday and she will show you later. This is very windy day here in Warsaw today. We had 10C yesterday and now is getting colder again. Mom has  new sewing machine. I predict she will sew all winter long 😟😟😟

Would you like to watch it to the end? This is very short indeed. In the end you will see my ancestor. I am very similar, don't you think? Do you like it? As far as I am concerned it is so fancy! So beautiful! This is from 1906! So long time ago... Mom told me surely I am from France!

My feline story Autumn 2020

 

Welcome, pawsies! Claire - Genevieve is back! Oh, I was missing you... Sorry I was absent during the summer months. The human was making some problems so I wasn't able to keep you up to date. Hope you will understand, guys.

My life is going well. Every morning I hunt for pigeons, and afterwards I nap and I am dreaming about how to prepare a fresh pigeon. One day I will catch. I will bake it like humans do with chicken. I will tell you about the weather too. We experience warm days now. We had 19C last week and 17C has been expected in the next few days. According to the forecast, you know.

Sometimes it rains a little but it makes the season more cosy. I was wondering maybe I should keep my own blog, but finally I decided to be here, together with my human.
