My feline story February - March 2019

Hello, everypawdy! This is speaking the kitty Claire- Genevieve from Warsaw! I am doing fine, how about you? This is getting much warmer recently here in Warsaw, although I must admit that the nights remain still cold, so I need to spend my evenings in the bathroom. As  you might see in the video, hooman dared to annoy me during my shower. My loves, I feel spring in the air! I think it must be the reason that I crave to eat plants in those days... My favourite pot plant  here is papyrus. As some of you might know from my previous posts, the plant has been taken outside. My hooman did it! Nevertheless, I found the way! It is in the corridor now. See?

I ate also another plants, which I found in the kitchen. This is like a salad to me. I have not my favourite ham at home, because hooman did not buy me it. I have only my kibble, cookies ( two tastes), wet food in a several tastes and white cheese. So you see as  hungry I am!

Being in the bathroom I usually am wondering about my life and about hooman and the dog, who both also live here. See my face! And brace yourself...

I am seven years old now. I need ham and sausage ( I like also sausages). One day she will buy me, I hope. I like cheesecake too. Today I write to you, my friends, and I want to send my love and cheers whereever you are on the planet. Sincerely yours, Claire - Genevieve, the kitty.

Ulubione rzeczy Wrzesień 2018 / Favourities September 2018

1. Kultura i sztuka/ Culture and Art 

Książka do kolorowania dla dorosłych, którą kupiłam już jakiś czas temu na wyprzedaży w Auchan. Niektóre rysunki maluję flamastrami a niektóre kredkami.Jak oglądałam Vueltę, to tak  fajnie się rysowało. Bardzo udany wypoczynek psychiczny. W tej książce nie ma rysunków konkretnych rzeczy, same wzory orientalne .

I am very keen on this cartoon book for adults. " Hinduskie motywy" that means Indian , and taking it proof, this book is Polish and the style is Indian. It contains only patterns in the gorgeous Oriental style. I bought this cartoon book in Auchan with lowered price. I paint it with  the marker pens  and the coloured pencils. I did it while I had been watching the race Vuelta. Very good relax I must admit.

2. Domowe rzeczy / Household 

W Pepco, które otworzyli mi koło bloku, kupiłam sobie taki czajnik. We wrześniu czajnik się przydaje, bo wieczory są już chłodne i miło jest mieć taki czajnik i kubek gorącej herbaty.

Jednego dnia temperatura wynosiła 30C, koło północy poszłam z psem w sandałach i letniej spódnicy, owiewał mnie ciepły wiatr... Rano było raczej zimowo, temperatura 14C. Skończyło się trzydniową migreną. W pażdzierniku lato ma wrócić.

I have this new kettle from Pepco. As you might know from my recent posts, I have a new Pepco store very close to my place. And guys this is already September! In September we have colder evenings here in Poland, so a new kettle has been a worthy investment. It is very cosy to brew a mug of tea in the evening. Thus, one day was very warm, the temperature was about 30C and the evening was very warm too. I went with my dog in the midnight, I was in my summer skirt and lovely summer breeze was blowing on me. Believe me or not, in the morning it was winter, only 14C and I got a headache. I had it for three days. Summer will be back in October.

3. Kosmetyki / Cosmetics 

Zamówiłam sobie paczkę w Yves Rocher, ale nie bardzo mam czas żeby to wszystko fotografować. Ten lakier też tam był i jego odcień jest bardzo ładny.

I have the box I had ordered at Yves Rocher, I do not show all of it due to my lack of time. This nail polish was in the box too and I love its shadow.

4.Telewizja / Watching tv 

We wrześniu oglądałam nawet sporo telewizji, głównie wyścig kolarski Vuelta a Espana. Całego oczywiście nie miałam czasu obejrzeć, ale na pewno więcej niż połowę. Michał Kwiatkowski był liderem i jechał w czerwonej koszulce przez trzy dni, a Rafał Majka jest bardzo wysoko w klasyfikacji generalnej. Mnie osobiście fascynuje też Asturia, i w ogóle północna Hiszpania.
I have been watching even much during this September, in particular the race Vuelta a Espana. Obviously I had no time to watch it all, although I have seen more than a half of it. Michał Kwiatkowski was the leader of the race for the three days and he did ride in the red jersey. Also Rafał Majka took very high place in the overall standing . Not to mention I am very impressed by Asturia and the northern Spain in general.

Oprócz tego oglądałam też relację live z huraganu Florence w CNN, i trochę rosyjskiej telewizji. Teraz oglądam mistrzostwa świata w kolarstwie w Innsbrucku, ale to raczej z doskoku, bo czasu brak.
I watched also the hurricane Florence live in CNN and Russian tv a little bit. I watch the world championships in cycling now, however I have no time to watch it all. This year the championships are in Innsbruck.

5. Ubrania / Outfits 

W związku z cudowną pogodą zamiast jesiennych butów wyjęłam z szafy stare klapki z Deichmanna, które przeleżały w pawlaczu chyba 8 lat, bo zapomniałam o nich. Vintage!
I got my old flip - flops from the wardrobe, instead of the warm, autumnal ones. The weather was so sweet... I have it from Deichmann, when I bought the flip- flops eight years ago and then I forgot that I have it. Vintage!

Potem jednak musiałam je z powrotem schować, po tym koszmarnym ochłodzeniu. W pażdzierniku może wyjmę je znowu.

After that shocking weather break I had to hide it in the closet again. Nevertheless, in October summer will be back.

6. Jedzonko / Food 

Te wafelki to są jedyne wafelki, które lubię. Wybór wafelków w Polsce jest ogromny i zresztą można je kupić w bardzo wielu krajach, nasze polskie. Ale ja kocham od lat te ze Słowacji  w wersji klasycznej, czyli takie mleczne. Oto zdjęcie z "gryzem" też... To by było na tyle. Następny post napisze kot.

Those waffers " Góralki" I adore! Even if here in Poland we have tons of Polish waffers in every shop, I go for those! " Góralki" are undoubtly my beloved, and I have been loving those sweets for many years. And it must be this classic version you see on the picture, milky ones. It is made in Slovakia. You see how I bited it ( I beg your pardon haha) So, time to say good bye for today. The next post will be written by the cat.

BTW: Aby zepsuć mi nastrój, Vectra, gdzie mamy Internet, działa tak, że od trzech dni mam uszkodzony modem ( wymieniony kilka miesięcy temu). Nie ma dostępu przez około pół godziny, muszę tyle czekać za każdym razem. Modem się nie resetuje, obsługa jest tak niegrzeczna i tak długo czekam na połączenie ( to jest płatne), że zmieniamy operatora, chyba na Netię, bo słyszałam dobre opinie. Więc jeśli komentarze nie będą moderowane tak szybko jak zazwyczaj, proszę poczekajcie. Ja na pewno wrócę.

Thus, I have serious problem with our Internet provider, who cannot help me. I have problems with connection for three days and they are rude in the service center. Witajcie kochani! Teraz mówi kotka Claire - Genevieve! Ostatnio, jak może niektórzy z Was zauważyli, ja byłam odsunięta od pisania tu, co uważam za skandal. 2) Różowa jaskinia dla kota / Pinky cave for a cat:

Drugi projekt to jest, jak widzicie właśnie, taka wspaniała i cudowna jaskinia dla kota. Zrobione jest to z włóczki, no i muszę powiedzieć, że ja szczególnie lubię taki odcień różu. Po prostu jestem zachwycona zawsze jak widzę jasny, pudrowy taki róż, wiecie! Osobiście uważam, że ta jaskinia jest przytulna i kobieca jednocześnie... Teraz upraszam Mamę żeby mi zrobiła taką na szydełku.
The second project is, as U see, this marvellous, gorgeous, cave for cat. This is made with yarn and I must say, I especially love the pinky shadow. I simply adore lightly, powdery pink! I found this cave both cosy and feminine. I am asking Mom for making it for me...

Tam jest też link do firmy, która to robi, ja znalazłam, że mają sklep i Mama na urodziny kupi mi dwa takie Szaszłyki. Ja mam urodziny w pażdzierniku, to znaczy, nie są to takie w ścisłym tego słowa znaczeniu. To jest dzień, w którym ja zostałam znaleziona na parkingu. I dostanę te szaszłyki, a potem się zobaczy.

There is also linked to the brand, I have found that they have the shop and  my Mom will purchase for me two of these "Szaszłyk", you know. It will be my present, because I will celebrate my B- Day in October. You know, this is not indeed my birthday, not in a proof meaning, but this is the day I have been taking home from the parking. Farming na balkonie u mnie / Farming on my balcony

Jakiś czas temu zasiałam na balkonie groszek pachnący, maciejkę i ostróżkę ogrodową, tak jak rok temu. Wtedy nie bardzo to wyrosło, no i w tym roku też średnio. Tu jest bardzo wietrznie i raczej nie mam złudzeń, że zrobię sobie bio ogród. Zasiałam też koper, to jedyne co tu wyrasta. Natomiast zdarzają się niespodzianki - jakieś kwiatki, które same się zasiały.

Some time ago I have been sowing on my balcony these flowers: sweet pea, Evening Stock and Delphinium elatum . I had been doing it also past year. The results were not  very impressive, and I must say, this time is also nothing special. My balcony is very windy place and I have no expectations that I will farming a bio garden here. One vegetable or herb, I am not sure indeed, which is growing well is dill. And I have some suprises from time to time - I mean wild flowers, very beautiful ones.

To wyrosło tam, gdzie posiałam ostróżkę ogrodową, ale to chyba nie jest ostróżka. Nawet ładne, ale nie wiem, co to jest. Kiedyś zasiałam tam lucernę, ale wtedy nie wyrosła. Może teraz?

This is growing in the place for Delphinium elatum, although it does not look like. I found it even pretty, but I still don't know the name of it. I did sow Medicago  there,  but long time ago and it did not grow . Maybe this is some Medicago ,which is growing now?

To jest dzikie wino, które dostałam od Mamy, jakoś sobie radzi. Mój poprzedni pies ciągle to wyrywał. Oraz widok z mojego balkonu!

Here we see  Parthenocissus  ( we call it wild wine) , from my mother, I think is managing quite good. The dog I had before was in the habit of wringing it. Also you can see the view!

Na górnym zdjęciu jest kwiatek, który sam się zasiał, bardzo ładny. Na dole jest zdjęcie z czasów, kiedy suczka miała pół roku -wtedy miałam poziomki, ale potem wymarzły w zimie. Muszę znowu sobie kupić.

Above you see some flower very nice. Down below is my dog picture, which I took when she was six months old. We had wild strawberries in those days, but unfortunately were wasted in freezy wintertime. I have to buy it again.

I na koniec bio koper, który wyhodowałam  na skorupkach jajek- bardzo smaczny. Zrobiłam z niego sos koperkowy do piersi kurczaka.

Lastly you see bio dill, which I have been farming on eggshells - very tasty. I made a chicken breast with yogurt and  dill sauce.
