To jest
makaron z Organic, tego sklepu sieciowego gdzie wszystko jest koszmarnie drogie, ale czasem robię tam zakupy. Włoski bio
z białej mąki pszennej, i już jest zjedzony. Ostatnio mam tak zwaną fazę na wspomnienia z przedszkola, w sensie kulinarnym, znaczy się. W przedszkolu na podwieczorek dawali nam makaron z białym serem i śmietaną, na słodko oczywiście. Chętnie jeszcze sobie kupię ten makaron, choć nie jest bardzo tani.
This is very good
bio pasta from
wheat flour, which I bought in Organic store. ( Organic is a highstreet with bio food and cosmetics here in Poland, and they're expensive, but from time to time I am buying there). This is pasta from Italy, and is eaten already. I will repurchase, if I shall come across. Nowadays I got the blues for my kindergarten's years, ages ago, I mean to say, I got it in a foodie way. In other words, I made this pasta with sweet cream and white cheese, similar to ricotta, because I remember this childish dish from the kindergarten. I still remember it! Sometimes my inner child craves it.
2. Morele suszone bio/ Dried bio apricots :
Bardzo się cieszę że odkryłam te morele polskiej firmy Makar, ponieważ od dłuższego czasu nie można było dostać w Rossmannie suszonych moreli bio, tych niemieckich. Te są równie dobre, polskie i tańsze. Kupiłam je chyba w Auchan, ewentualnie w Carrefourze, w każdym razie widziałam je w Carrefourze też. Nie pamiętam dokładnie ile zapłaciłam ale na pewno były tańsze od tych z Rossmanna. Generalnie chodzi o to że są niesiarkowane, i dlatego takie ciemne, bo utleniły się.
I must admit, that I am very, very glad that I discovered those dried apricots! From Polish brand Makar. I was really in trouble, due to the lack of my beloved dried apricots in Rossmann shop, where I usually buy bio apricots. Those Polish ones I had from Auchan or Carrefour ( I do not remember proof, anyway I saw it in Carrefour later). Very tasty and cheaper than the German ones from Rossmann. Dried bio apricots must be dark, that means it's really nonsulphured.
3. Pistacje na wagę / Pistache by weight:
Tu oto widzimy pistacje, kupione na wagę. Ja bardzo lubię pistacje i daję je też do różnych potraw, ale akurat teraz kupiłam sobie trochę do zjedzenia zwyczajnie.
As you might see on the display, I got a little bit of pistache by weight. I like pistache very much, to eat plain and also I add it to some meals. This time I simply got it to eat plain.
4. Ogórki konserwowe/ Potted cucumbers:
Kupiłam sobie też ogórki konserwowe Krakus, które bardzo lubię. Szczerze mówiąc ja po prostu nie cierpię ogórków kiszonych, natomiast naprawdę lubię konserwowe, ale właśnie tej firmy.
Potted cucumbers this is not the same as gherkins or cucumbers in brine, which are very popular here in Poland, and even treaten as our national treasure. To be frank, I absolutely do not like cucumbers in brine, too sour for me. But Ogórki Konserwowe from Krakus I like a lot! Crispy and a bit sour, a bit sweet. I am buying only from Krakus, because they make the best.
5. Sos indyjski Tikka Masala pomidorowy/ Indian tomato sauce Tikka Masala

morozy ... Gdy za oknem mróz i śnieg, warto porządnie zjeść. Ja w każdym razie tak mam, i generalnie jestem wściekła z powodu tej pogody, ale jak sobie zjadłam taką

sosem hinduskim, to poczułam się o niebo lepiej. Jestem teraz fanką tych sosów, które są u nas w Carrefourze, który mam pod domem. Jest kilka rodzajów, i miałam ten oraz taki biały ze śmietany, którego nazwy nie pamiętam. Oba były bardzo dobre i w składzie nie mają niczego bardzo straszliwego. Jest to firma Patak's, która robi je w Wielkiej Brytanii. Ja w ogóle podchodzę bardzo nieufnie do sosów azjatyckich, bo często są bardzo ostre albo bardzo kwaśne, ale te są łagodne.
Thus, it turned out that the early spring this year is getting very freezy and rather I should call it winter. Freeze and snow outside my window, so I ended up with a square meal. Square meal is always needed, while is coldy, right? I was really bothered and angry with this strange weather, but when I had eaten this minced beef with rice and this Indian sauce I got happy feelings as well... I became a huge lover of those sauces, which I am buying here in Carrefour. They sell a few tastes of it, I have tried this one Tikka Masala and one creamy, white sauce, which name I forgot. They are both delicious and I have checked the ingredients list, which does not contain any spooky things. The brand is Patak's and it is made in the UK. In general I am not a fan of Asian sauces, it is too sour and too spicy for me often, but those are mild and very good.
6. Stek wołowy dojrzewający/ Beef steak maturing/
Żeby przetrwać ten atak powrotny zimy, zaopatrzyłam się w
stek wołowy z dojrzewającej 18 dni wołowiny i zjadłyśmy go z suką, wysmażony na krwisto. Na topie było masło klarowane. Nawet go niczym nie nacierałam, ze względu na sukę, bo wiedziałam że ona będzie błagała... Ale i tak był wyśmienity!
I had bought this splendid
beef steak to survive this attack of returning winter! This is maturing beef 18 days old and I fried it shortly, because I wanted it to be bloody. My doggo girl was in awe and I was in awe too! I added some clarified butter on top... It was delicious, even with no herbs and spicies ( because I knew she will beg for it).
Naprawdę trudno mi przypomnieć sobie taki zimny marzec, to jest bardzo dziwne. Chyba 5 czy 6 lat temu też był śnieg w marcu ale nie aż takie mrozy. W związku z tym mam teorię, że to się po prostu przesunęło - w grudniu jest jeszcze jesień, ale potem wczesna wiosna to jest właściwie jeszcze zima. Już od kilku lat jest chłodna wiosna, w każdym razie tu na Mazowszu.
I do not remember such chilly March! I find it weird, I must say. I remember one snowy March, it was five or six years ago... Although by now we experience more heavy freeze. Thus, I have created my own theory on it. In my opinion this is all belated - firstly December had been very autumnal, and nowadays this March belongs to the winterseason as well... Here on Mazovia we have very chilly springs for a several years.
