My feline story February - March 2019

Hello, everypawdy! This is speaking the kitty Claire- Genevieve from Warsaw! I am doing fine, how about you? This is getting much warmer recently here in Warsaw, although I must admit that the nights remain still cold, so I need to spend my evenings in the bathroom. As  you might see in the video, hooman dared to annoy me during my shower. My loves, I feel spring in the air! I think it must be the reason that I crave to eat plants in those days... My favourite pot plant  here is papyrus. As some of you might know from my previous posts, the plant has been taken outside. My hooman did it! Nevertheless, I found the way! It is in the corridor now. See?

I ate also another plants, which I found in the kitchen. This is like a salad to me. I have not my favourite ham at home, because hooman did not buy me it. I have only my kibble, cookies ( two tastes), wet food in a several tastes and white cheese. So you see as  hungry I am!

Being in the bathroom I usually am wondering about my life and about hooman and the dog, who both also live here. See my face! And brace yourself...

I am seven years old now. I need ham and sausage ( I like also sausages). One day she will buy me, I hope. I like cheesecake too. Today I write to you, my friends, and I want to send my love and cheers whereever you are on the planet. Sincerely yours, Claire - Genevieve, the kitty.

The things I've been loving February 2019/ Ulubione rzeczy Luty 2019

1.) Climate: Winter is already over! The photo above has been taken in the first days of February, it was about -2C. Then we experienced even 13C in this month. This is really warm for February, here in Poland. We  have severe freeze during this month often, so this is the month which is considered here as most cold of an year. But not this time! No snow, no freeze, winter is over faster than we expected.The photo below has been taken in the last week of February and we saw daisies and green leaves on lilac. Nights are still cold, but nights are cold even in the beggining of April, so no wonder.

1.) Sytuacja klimatyczna: Zima skończyła się w tym roku wcześniej, przynajmniej tu na Mazowszu. Zdjęcie powyższe zrobiłam na początku lutego, kiedy było około -2C i bałam się że mrozy przyjdą. Jednak nie przyszły i potem nawet mieliśmy 13C. Starsi ludzie mawiają że luty to najzimniejszy miesiąc w roku, ale jakoś w tym roku pogoda jest od razu marcowa. Śniegu już nie było tu w Warszawie i widziałam  stokrotki, listki na bzie no i te czerwono- czarne takie robaki już są. Noce cały czas zimne, ale ja czasem nawet na początku kwietnia zakładam czapkę, kiedy wychodzę z suczką póżniej w nocy. Drugie zdjęcie zrobiłam w zeszłym tygodniu.

2.) Cosmetics: I discovered really nice and good hydrolate! This is Green Tea Hydrolate from Polish brand Bielenda. The ingredients list is not bad, I must admit, and if it comes to talk about the price I think is not very expensive, but unfortunately I forgot the price. Although Bielenda in general is a drugstore brand with quite affordable prices. It really "tones, regulates and soothes the skin" as you can read on the bottle. The description in English that means they sell it abroad, not in Poland only. The hydrolate I want to repurchase. I bought also serum from this line Green Tea and I will use it during March.

2.) Kosmetyki: Odkryłam naprawdę dobry i fajny hydrolat! Jest to Green Tea Hydrolate od Bielendy, niestety, ja nie pamiętam ceny tego, ale generalnie nie była jakoś bardzo wygórowana. Z chęcią jeszcze kupię ten hydrolat, i teraz jeszcze kupiłam serum z tej linii Green Tea na wyprzedaży w Rossmannie, będę go używała w Marcu.

The second cosmetic I have been loving now is this French bio shampoo! I have already the second packaging. I am buying it in Organic and I must say the price is high. For sure more than 30zł, but it is worthy. This is a wholesome product free from parabens, silicons and sulfates. It smells lovely but not too strong, is making a gentle foam but also only a little bit, and is made from almond milk and rice's proteins. This is a shampoo very versatile for all hair types. It is my love! In general, I have a thing from this brand Lea Nature for the first time and I want to give a try also to other their stuff.

Drugą rzeczą, którą niedawno odkryłam jest ten francuski szampon bio! Kupiłam sobie już drugą tubę tego i jestem bardzo zadowolona z niego i moich włosów. To jest kupione w Organic i cena tego szamponu to jest jakoś ponad 30 zł, ale naprawdę warto. W Organicu wszystko jest drogie, ale czasem kupuję tam, też dlatego że mało tam ludzi, więc nie ma  chamstwa i brutalnej złośliwości ( w Warszawie ostatnio nie żyje się najfajniej). Więc wolę dopłacić kilka złotych i mieć przynajmniej chwilę spokoju. Szampon ten nie ma parabenów i silikonów oraz SLS/ SLES. Wytwarza trochę piany i pachnie ładnie ale łagodnie. Działa bardzo dobrze na włosy i skórę. Ma mleko migdałowe i proteiny ryżowe. Widziałam że oni mają więcej kosmetyków tej firmy Lea Nature i teraz jeszcze będę kupowała więcej tego.

3.) Food: While I was shopping in Organic I grabbed also this ghee clarified butter. The price is also high. (I have never seen in this shop anything cheap). This is a medium- size packaging. I would recommend it in particular for baking.

3.) Jedzonko: Będąc w Organicu kupiłam też takie masło klarowane ghee, ono jest też bio. Są trzy wielkości słoików, ten jest średni. Największy kosztuje coś 50 zł, a ten chyba jakoś poniżej 30, ale zapomniałam. Ja zawsze zapominam. Zużyłam to masło głównie do pieczenia i smak ciasta był nieporównywalnie lepszy niż zazwyczaj, choć zazwyczaj też jest niezłe, kiedy ja upiekę.

This peach tart I baked for The New Year but also recently I was baking it. Especially good with that ghee I have shown you above. It looks like burnt but is not. I added unrefined cane sugar and it is the reason of this dark colour. Ha ha. The peaches I had from the jar, obviously. I mean  from sirup, not fresh.

To jest tarta brzoskwiniowa, którą upiekłam na Nowy Rok, ale teraz niedawno znowu ją zrobiłam. Właśnie ona była z tym masłem ghee, o którym jest wyżej. Ona wygląda jak spalona, ale nie jest. Taki kolor ma z powodu nierafinowanego cukru trzcinowego, który zabarwia na ciemno, ale ja bardzo go lubię i często używam. Brzoskwinie były z syropu ze słoika.

4.) Household: My dog had her Birthday Party! She is already 7 years old. This is the toy I gave her, I made it from my old jeans pants. So easy to make it! You don't need to sew, only you have to make this braid. She loved it and even pissed it over. So I must wash it in the washing machine, and now I know it survived the washing.

4.) Gospodarstwo domowe: W lutym mój pies miał urodziny i Birthday Pawty. Ma już siedem lat! To jest zabawka, którą zrobiłam  dla niej ze starych dżinsów. Bardzo łatwo i szybko się robi, po prostu trzeba zapleść taki warkocz. Żadnego szycia. Ona pokochała ją i obsikała nawet, więc musiałam dać to do pralki. Stąd wiem, że taki warkocz przetrwa pranie w pralce.

Tu jest Birthday Girl! Goście byli z Ameryki i nie tylko, ona nosi mój top na lato, ale tylko do zdjęcia jej założyłam.

5.) Culture and Art: I want to show you one from my beloved paintings, "Daybreak" by Józef Rapacki. This is captured a beautiful time of melting snow, when you can feel spring in the air.

5.) Sztuka: To jest jeden z moich ukochanych obrazów, Józef Rapacki "Daybreak". ( Jakoś nie znam polskiego tytułu niestety). Piękny czas topniejącego śniegu i roztopów, kiedy w  powietrzu czuje się wiosnę. W tym roku to już było.

6.) Watching tv: The season has started and I am watching cycling again. For me is even not easy to count how many races I have seen. I was watching the race in Andalucia in Spain, also in Algarve in Portugal, and UEA Tour recently. This weekend I watch The Indoor Athletic Championship in Glasgow. Poland won a few medals already, I especially like Paweł Wojciechowski and Piotr Lisek in Pole Vault. They're amazing!

6.) W telewizji: Sezon kolarski już się zaczął i trochę oglądałam sobie różne wyścigi, na przykład po Algarve w Portugalii, po Andaluzji i po Emiratach Arabskich. Teraz w weekend oglądam mistrzostwa halowe w Glasgow ( lekkoatletyka). Polska ma już kilka medali i dla mnie najbardziej niesamowici byli Wojciechowski i Lisek ( skok o tyczce). Naprawdę świetny show!
