Summer in the city

Hello, guys! How the time flies... It seems like the summer has been going to the end. Well, September in Poland it is summer still,  not that hot like we experience by now. So I think this heatwave is the last heatwave this year. I love to spend summer in the city. I adore the empty streets and parks while lots of people are on vacations. I really like to travel in winter.

Warsaw is my city where I was born and I raised up. I cannot say I love this town, but is quite nice sometimes. Loving this town it is said too much! Too crowded and too nasty. Recently I was very busy with many meetings in the city so I made those collages and images. Warsaw has about 2 millions of inhabitants now, the majority are newcomers, and the majority of the newcomers are country people from the region Masovia, and sometimes I find it as a problem, as I am not a country girl. In other Polish big towns, like Kraków ( Cracow) or Gdańsk the atmosphere is more fancy, peaceful, posh etc. Warsaw is very dynamic and let me say, boorish, as far as I am concerned. But I live here in the outskirts and often I feel even good despite of it.

Z życia kotki Sierpień 2019/ My feline story August 2019

Serdecznie witam Państwa w cudowny, letni wieczór! Mówi kotka Claire- Genevieve z Warszawy. W ostatnich dniach jest bardzo ciepło, odnotowujemy naprawdę wysokie temperatury, proszę Państwa. Niedawno jadłam też ćmę, którą upolowałam sobie w mieszkaniu. Czuję się po niej bardzo dobrze. Czasem lubię tak... Ćma jest bardzo smaczna. Jak zawsze rano poluję na gołębie poprzez szybę okienną i oglądałam też w telewizji film przyrodniczy o żurawiach i sowach. Nie wiem, czy Państwo się tym interesują, ale ja tak. W tym miesiącu zdecydowałam się na przedstawienie Państwu takiego zestawu, co ja jadłam ostatnio. Niektóre z tych saszetek mi smakowały, ale nie każda.

Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen! This is Claire - Genevieve speaking! Live from Warsaw! Such a pleasure to talk to you in this beautiful summer evening... In these days we experience really high temperatures here. Over 30C for today, for instance ( yes!)... Dear Readers! Recently I ate the moth which I reached here in the apartment. I feel very good now, it was very yummy! Very yummy! I like to eat a moth from time to time. Moth is very delicious. I love also to hunt for pigeons through the window glass. I  do it day by day in the morning. In addition, I was watching a documentary  in tv. It was about owls and cranes. I don't know are you interested in those topics, but I am. Well, if it comes to talk about food, I will show you my food I recently ate. I am satisified only with a few from this.

Więc najbardziej to ta ostatnia. To było smaczne i też taka Purina  Gourmet grillowany kurczak. Tam jest biały kot na zielonym tle, widzicie, prawda? Te mogę polecić Państwu jako coś naprawdę wartego spróbowania. Poza tym to nie bardzo. Pies to zjadł potem. Byłam też poczęstowana takim łososiem, ja bardzo lubię łososia.

So, after trying all of it, I must admit I like the last one most. It was yummy and the one Purina Gourmet as well. The fluffy white cat on  green,  as you might see. See? I would recommend it to you as something actually worthbuying. The rest is so so, as far as I am concerned. The dog ate it. I was also allowed to this salmon in marinate, and with dill. I adore salmon.

Moje pocztówki 2 Francja / My postcards 2 France

1.) Pocztówka z Paryża 

Widzimy na niej Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge i jeszcze inne wspaniałe zabytki oraz herb Paryża. Ja jestem zakochana w tym napisie Paris, taki design właśnie uwielbiam, w Polsce nie jest i nie był popularny.

1.) Postcard from Paris

This is old postcard from Paris, and we can see Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge as well other magnificent heritage in Paris, and also the coat of arms. I am especially a huge fan of this inscription Paris, I do love this design... In Poland this style has never been popular and nowadays is not very popular too.

2.) Telegram bon -vivanta

Wakacyjna pocztówka z południa Francji " La vie est magnifique a Palavas stop". Moja znajomość francuskiego pozwala mi przetłumaczyć to zdanie! " Życie jest wspaniałe w Palavas stop". ( Uczyłam się przez rok ponad 15 lat temu). Potem jest coś o słońcu, o winie i o dziewczynach, ale nie jestem pewna. Z 1971 roku.  Piękny design!

2.) Telegramme du bon vivant

This is a summer postcard from the South of France. " La vie est magnifique a Palavas stop". I could translate it as " Life is marvellous in Palaves stop". ( I was learning French 15 years ago and only a year). Then is something about sun, wine and girls, but I don't understand it proof. This is old postcard  from 1971. Beautiful design!
