It was lovely seeing your photographs from the walk. Here it is getting dark really early too, but I still like Autumn...probably because all the magical photos.
I'm not surprised that your dog found the puppy to be too energetic. Puppies are usually very high in energy....and they can be a bit too much to handle for adult dogs. It is best to let puppies play with other puppies.
I remember mine, when she was annoying older dogs as a pup, but right now she is not interested in any contact with puppies. And especially she does not like bigger ones, because they usually want to hold her head in their mouths and drooling on her. She has several friends she loves to play with, but they are in the same age or older :D
