Moja lalka Ingrid #1 / My doll Ingrid #1

Znajcie historię lalki tej! Dziś Ingrid przedstawiam Wam - oto lalka - hipster.  Mieszka w USA, rzuciła studia artystyczne i włóczy się po Arizonie i Kalifornii swoim starym RV. Zarabia na życie tłumaczeniami literatury i sprzedaje zdjęcia przyrody. Nie jest rebeliantką ani nikim bardzo zbuntowanym, raczej swego rodzaju marzycielką, a jeśli mówimy o interesach, jest typowym wolnym strzelcem. Jej styl jest umocowany we wspomnieniach z lat grunge, ale uzupełniany nowoczesnymi wpływami. Lalka Ingrid nie jest Barbie, szczerze mówiąc dziecko znajomych mi ją dało, bo jej nie chciało. Nawet nie wiem jaka to jest lalka ( to ja nazwałam ją Ingrid), ale ma płaskie stopy i może stać, w odróżnieniu od tańszych Barbie, i zgina ręce. Ma jednak dość sporą głowę, co jest pewnym utrudnieniem, kiedy projektuje się dla niej ubrania. (Mam jeszcze drugą lalkę, ale to będzie oddzielnie...) Trudno jest mi pracować przy tym projekcie, bo kicia Claire-Genevieve nie bardzo pozwala mi zajmować jej stół - jak wiecie, ona myśli, że to jest jej terytorium. Koncepcja  zasadnicza przy tworzeniu tej kolekcji opiera się na wykorzystaniu materiałów z recyklingu. Wykorzystywane są również istniejące ściegi, które niejednokrotnie kreatywnie aranżowane są w nowatorski sposób, co wpływa na mniejsze zużycie prądu, gdyż szyje się szybciej.

Guys, listen to the story I  want to tell you! I am going to share the story of my doll Ingrid, who is a hipster. She is also a very artisan person, she has been studied art, but she decided not to continue her life at the university camp, and she has turned to spend her lifetime in an old RV, wandering through California and Arizona all the time...  Ingrid is not a rebel one, she is rather an independent dreamer and a free lancer, if it comes to talk about bussines. She lives in the US. Her job is, that in the evening she is translating a literature, and, additionaly, she sells her photos of a  wild nature. I find her style as very personal, overall the base is from beloved grunge old times, although Ingrid is very keen on a new trends in fashion, so  her closet is full of new inspirations as well... She is not a Barbie doll, and frankly I even do not know what sort of doll she is. I have the doll from my fellows kid, who did not want her anymore. I gave her this name Ingrid, and right now I am working hard because she has not clothes, shoes or anything. Her head is big and is not easy to sew for her because of that! I own also another doll ( which head is smaller), but this  is a whole new story. I am in a trouble because of my kitty Claire- Genevieve, who is in the habit of attacking me, whenever I sew. Seems she is very angry with me... The collection I am making is inspired by the recycling movement and culture. So I appreciate those stiches, which are already made. This is  energy and time saving as well! I hope Claire- Genevieve will allow me to finish my project!

To jest właściwie nowa skarpetka, która została sama bez pary, ponieważ suka skradła mi drugą.
This sock is rather a new one, but the second one from that pair is stolen by my dog.

czapka/ beanie : kawałek starego swetra i pompon ze starego kapcia / a piece of my old sweater and the pompom is from  my old slipper

sukienka /dress: kawałek rękawa ze sterj bluzki Bon Prix/  part of the sleeve from my old Bon Prix shirt

talerz/ plate: góra z opakowania jogurtu / top from a yoghurt packaging

tarta migdałowa /almond sweet tart:domowa / homemade

Z tej skarpetki uszyłam spódnicę ale jest jeszcze nie całkiem skończona, najmniejszy kawałek jest do projektu o nazwie patchworkowy kocyk, a z części, która miała najwięcej ciemnego koloru uszyłam suknię na chłodniejsze dni w Arizonie...
I made a skirt from this sock, but is not completely done, and the smallest piece is for my project of a patchwork blanket. Look at the dress I have already done from the darkest part of it. That will be quite good for chiller days in Arizona, don't you.
